National Marine Suppliers Continues to Support Florida Breast Cancer Foundation and Task Force Dagger Foundation.
Fort Lauderdale, FL – 10/21/2020 – As Covid-19 continues, it is with great sadness we announce that National Marine will not be hosting two of their Fall Events. The Yacht Bikers Poker Run with proceeds going to Task Force Dagger Foundation and the Annual Customer Appreciation Gala held for the FL Breast Cancer Foundation. Over the years the two events have raised $420,995.00! We are so fortunate to be a part of a very generous industry!
In seven years of giving back to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, National Marine and the Yachting Industry have raised $390,510.00 which has been allocated right here in Fort Lauderdale to the Broward County Health Department. In 2017 National Marine began working with Task Force Dagger Foundation. TFD is a charity set up by the men and women who served in the Special Forces. Their focus is to support the US Special Operations Command as needed with assistance to service members and families in their time of need. In two years working with TFD the Yachting Industry have raised $30,485.00 for wounded Special Force Veterans.
This year we are not hosting our Annual Events due to social distancing and events being cancelled. We feel an incredible commitment to continue the efforts to raise money for FLBCF & TFD families and the drive to make life better has become infectious and we wish to continue especially in these times.
